The clash, Vikram Bhatt said, "I saw the promo of Pink. It looks like a good film. Honestly, I think audiences are very different." Vikram Bhatt is not too concerned about his horror film, Emraan Hashmi Raaz Reboot clashing with Amitabh Bachchan’s Pink at the box office.
The director feels there is enough space to accommodate both films and above all the audience would be different for both the movies that belong to two different genres.

Talking to IndianExpress.com about the clash, Vikram said, “I saw the promo of Pink. It looks like a good film. Honestly, I think audiences are very different. That’s a very topical film, very realistic and mine is a supernatural. I call Raaz romanticised horror. So I think audiences are different. Even if they were not clashing, I don’t think the Pink audience is the Raaz audience or Raaz audience is the Pink Audience. Except for some overlap here and there.”
Talking about Raaz franchise, produced Mukesh Bhatt said, “Apart from being a horror franchise, Raaz has always had an inherent love story. It also deals with the mysteries revolving around the heart. That is the beauty of Raaz. And nobody’s has mastered the craft of telling a supernatural thriller better than Vikram.”
Senior Bhatt also warded off fears of piracy by saying that he trusted no one but himself with the film’s DCP and KDM. “I sleep with the film. I don’t even trust my wife. It’s fully protected unless something nasty happens.”

The producer also revealed that the CBFC had certified the film with an ‘A’ sans any cuts. “The film is censored and passed with an ‘A’ certificate without any cuts. Our intention as filmmakers is not to titillate. The film is made with a good intent. A lady member from the CBFC told me without being asked that the movie is a beautiful one. That comment made my day,” said Mukesh.
